WARNING Property Damage
An improperly attached battery box can come loose during the journey and damage the Aquajet.

Before each journey, make sure that the battery box is firmly and securely closed.
►
Check especially that the locks on the battery box are correctly engaged
• Lie on the Aquajet in the direction of travel and hold on to the handles with both hands.
High acceleration forces can occur, especially when starting up.
•
To start the Aquajet, press the thumb throttle on the right handle only very lightly at first.
The Aquajet will start to move.
• Increase the driving speed only gradually during the ride to familiarise yourself with the
driving characteristics of the Aquajet. You must be able to control the Aquajet safely at all
times.

The maximum driving performance is reached when the thumb throttle is pushed through
to the stop.
• To reduce the speed, release the thumb throttle until the desired speed is reached.
• To change direction, shift your body weight in the desired direction of travel and pull the
bow in that direction. Lean your body into the curve, like when riding a bicycle or
motorcycle, for example. The lower body and especially the legs act like a tail fin. Hold
on tightly to the handles so that you do not slide off the Aquajet.
• Practice cornering at slow speed at first until you have full control of the Aquajet.

To brake, continue to hold both handles and take your thumb completely off the thumb
throttle to stop the engines. The thrust cut-off and the water resistance brake the Aquajet
quickly. Please note that at full speed you will only come to a standstill after approx. 3 to
4 meters - depending on your momentum or the speed at which you were traveling. You
can shorten the braking distance by turning the Aquajet crosswise to the direction of
travel with a strong turning movement and straightening yourself without letting go of the
handles. In this way you can keep the Aquajet under control, increase the water
resistance significantly and come to a standstill as quickly as possible.
NOTE:
Recharge the batteries after each use (within 24 hours) to avoid deep
discharge. A deep discharge can irreparably damage the cells of Li-ion
batteries.
