Cleaning the Cartridge Filter
The thorough cleaning of the cartridge filter will ensure a longer working life for the machine. To clean the cartridge
filter, proceed as follows:
1. Take the appliance to its designated maintenance area.
2. Take the necessary steps to secure the machine (see the section “
MACHINE SAFETY ”).
3. Free the vacuum head from the collection tank by releasing the hooks (1) on the side of the tank. Rotate the
levers as shown by the arrow in the picture on the right.
WARNING: You are advised to always wear protective gloves, to avoid the risk of serious injury to your hands.
4. Use the handle (2) on the vacuum head unit to remove it from the collection tank.
5. Rest the head carefully on the ground.
6. Rotating the handwheel (3) anticlockwise, remove the cartridge filter support (4).
7. Remove the cartridge filter (5) from the vacuum head.
8. Clean the panel filter with an air jet from a distance of more than 8 inches (20cm).
9. Repeat the operations in reverse order to reassemble all the parts.
WARNING:
Check the wear status of the cartridge filter. If the filter surface area is damaged or particularly
obstructed, replace it as described in the section “ REPLACING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER ”.
WARNING: Optional HEPA filter can not be cleaned without damage. Replace filter with a new one as
described in the section “ REPLACING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER ”.
Replacing the Cartridge Filter
The good operation of the foam filter will ensure a longer working life for the machine. To replace the foam filter,
proceed as follows:
1. Follow steps 1 through 7 listed above.
2. Replace it with the new filter.
3. Repeat the operations, steps 1 through 7 listed above, in reverse order to reassemble all the parts.
