Monolithic Dentures / Ceramill Zolid Preshades
Post-processing
After the final sintering has taken place:
▷
If required, the zirconium oxide frames can be reworked after the
final sintering without pressure, using a water-cooled lab turbine
and suitable diamond grinding points (recommended grain approx.
40
μ
m).
▷
Polish the contact surfaces to the antagonist and to the neighbour-
ing teeth to a high gloss when in high-density sintered condition. We
recommend using the Amann Girrbach polishing set for this (please
also refer to the processing instructions of the polishing kit).
Frame preparation for staining and glazing
After checking the fitting accuracy, contact points and occlusion:
▷
Clean the interior crown surfaces by means of corundum blasting
(aluminium oxide, 110
μ
m, pressure
≤
2 bar) and subsequent ultra-
sonic treatment and/or steaming off.
The exterior crown surfaces are not corundum blasted.
For bridges with more than five units and bridges with massive inter-
mediate units, step-by-step long-term cooling to 500
°C
is recom-
mended.
Staining and glazing
▷
Stain and glaze the units afterwards. We recommend using the
Amann Girrbach stain and glaze kit for this (please also refer to the
processing instructions of the stain and glaze kit).
