IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to interior finish, remove buckets and
shelves from freezer and refrigerator door before performing door reversal.
Lay doors interior-side down on carpet, or a protected surface.
To Remove Doors

WARNING
To avoid risk of electrical shock which can cause severe personal injury or death, disconnect power to
refrigerator before removing doors. After replacing doors, reconnect power.

1. Remove toe grille by snapping out.
2. If attached, remove top hinge cover (A–some models) . Top hinge
cover snaps off. While supporting freezer door, remove top hinge
(B) using

" hex nut driver to remove screws (C) . NOTE: Some
models contain hinge cover in literature packet.
3. Lift freezer door off center hinge pin (D) .
4. While supporting fresh food door, remove center hinge pin (D) from
center hinge bracket (E) with adjustable wrench. Remove and
retain all round washer shims, if present.
5. Remove fresh food door by lifting door off bottom hinge pin (I) .
6. Remove center hinge bracket (E) and shim (F) by removing screw
(G) and loosening two screws (H) using Quadrex™ head
screwdriver.
7. Remove bottom hinge (J) with

" hex nut driver. Remove hinge pin (I)
with adjustable wrench. Remove and retain all round washer shims,
if present.

Door Removal and Reversal Instructions
IMPORTANT:
• Save all screws for reuse.
• For plug and/or fresh food handle trim removal use of a putty knife is required, blade of tool must be
covered with masking tape to avoid damage to refrigerator finish. For plugs using a screwdriver or
nut driver style head, use appropriate tool to avoid damage to plugs.
