NOTE
When the Novus drive system is activated, opening any door causes
the
System Activated
warning message to appear in the Novus display.
Forward driving
1. With your foot on the brake pedal select
D
(drive) position using the
gear selector
. Selected gear indication is shown on the gear
selector and on the Novus instrument display.
2. Press the accelerator pedal to start driving forward.
Reverse driving
1. Stop the vehicle and hold the brake pedal depressed.
2. Select
R
(reverse) using the gear selector
. The Novus instrument
display should now show
R
indication.
3. Check that
R
gear lights up and the reverse drive sound is audible.
4. Start driving in reverse by pressing the accelerator pedal.
5. To switch back to forward
– repeat steps 1 and 2, reselecting
D
to
choose the forward drive.
6. Check that
R
light is off and no message is displayed on the Novus
instrument display.
