Use a caulking gun to apply waterproofing silicon
between the last two rows and underneath the final
pieces that cover the very top of the sauna to help
prevent water seepage. Be generous with the amount
of silicone used and use discretion on where to apply.
Fix the final row down along the top edge with more
‘3*16mm’ screws.

Installing the bitumen roofing.
There are five different pieces that make up the
bitumen roof by forming rows from different patterns.
Familiarise yourself with the pieces and their
corresponding letter in the guide. Follow the bitumen
roofing pattern guide on the following page exactly
until complete.
Tip: To help attach the bitumen to the sauna roof you
can use a staple gun to hold each layer in place before
screwing it down. This saves you having to hold it in
place while drilling each screw in.
Turn to the following page for a full description of how
each row should look, and what pieces each row is
composed of.
Fasten the bitumen to the sauna roof using ‘3*16mm’
screws, one per hexagonal base edge. This will usually
equate to 7 screws per row.
