Voice connection on 4G - VoLTE
In 4G networks, voice connection (telephony) is only possible
with VoLTE (Voice over LTE) technology. The gateway
automatically uses the highest possible available network, ie
also VoLTE, if the operator allows it access. Some operators
allow access automatically, for some it is unfortunately
necessary to set access manually. In the case of manual
settings, it is necessary to set the correct access point (APN)
according to your network provider (for more details, see
parameter programming). Settings are possible with GGset or
remotely via SMS.
In which type of GSM network (2G / 4G) the gateway is
registered is indicated by a change in character of flashing the
yellow LED (at the antenna symbol) - see. table on page 26.
