PC to Control Infrared Communication (Continued)

Changing the Machine’s Serial Number

1. To change the machine’s serial number, under the

Infrared

menu, click

Change Machine Serial

Number...

2. The

Change machine serial number

window opens.

3. To display the machine’s current serial number, click

Get Current Machine Serial Number

. The

machine’s current serial number is displayed in the

New machine serial number :

text box.

4. To change the machine’s serial number, enter the desired serial number into the

New machine

serial number :

textbox.

5. Click the

Set

button. A pop-up window appears asking if you are sure that you would like to

change the machine’s serial number.

6. Click

Yes

. The

Change machine serial number

window opens.

7. Click

Send

8. Align the window on the back of the infrared communication device with the infrared comm port

window on the machine’s control.

9. The new serial number is sent to the machine.

10. To close the

Change machine serial number

window, click the

Close

button.
