PC to Control Infrared Communication

NOTE: Before using the infrared communication device, be sure that the necessary drivers
have been installed from the CD-ROM supplied with the device. Make sure the infrared
communication is connected to the PC.

Collecting Information from the Machine

Collecting Machine Data

1. To collect the machine’s data, under the

Infrared

menu, click

Collect Machine Data...

2. The

Collect machine data

window opens.

3. Click the

Collect

button.

4. Align the window on the back of the infrared communication device with the infrared comm port

window on the machine's control.

5. The machine's data is collected and added to the PC application's My UniLinc structure.

6. To close the

Collect machine data

window, click the

Close

button.
