The rung is used to reset a completed or errored message instruction. Resetting the MSG instruction will re-arm it to

re-transmit.

If the input data has changed, set the input buffer (N7:80 and N7:89) equal to the inputs. This rung re-arms rung 0000

in this example.

Input Data has Changed Flag

This rung times the write message instruction for errors or lockup conditions. The timer restarts communications

whenever an error occurs. Lockup conditions are situations that may arise if the communications path is corrupted. For

example, power is lost at the destination device or a cable is cut. Error conditions are typically caused from noise on the

communications link or a faulty device on the network.
