NOTE:
There is no need to enter a starting point. CoPilot uses GPS positioning to
determine your location automatically.
In the Guidance screen, click
Destination
to enter an address. Then click
Address
to
enter a city name and state/country abbreviation or a postal code, and a street address.
Enter a city name and state or country abbreviation separated by a comma and space
(e.g. “
princeton, nj
” or “
paris, fr
” or “
sydney, nsw
”), then hit the
Enter
key on your
keyboard . For more specific guidance you can also type a
street address
, with or
without a building number (e.g.
158 nassau st
), and hit the
Enter
key.
TIP:
Usually you will need to spell out words like "Saint", "Mount", "Fort", etc. Place
names generally need to be spelled out: "
John F. Kennedy International Airport
"
instead of "
JFK Airport
". If you have problems finding an address, try different ways of
spelling words and/or place names.
