METRO POWERPOD™ SYSTEM —
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
2. Unplug the power strip cord and the display communication cable from the PowerPod™ drawer at the rear of the cart
(See

).
3. Loosen the lock screw and remove any security seal (if present) from the front of the PowerPod™ drawer
(See
Image 2
).
4. Slide the drawer latch to the left to unlock the PowerPod™ drawer.
5. Open drawer and connect the battery / power supply cable (See
Image 3
).(Match red to red and black to black)
6. Close drawer slide, latch to the right and tighten screw and replace security seal (if desired).
7. Reconnect outlet strip power cable and communication cable to the PowerPod™ at the rear of cart (See
Image 1
).
Charge Battery
Battery must be charged for a minimum of 4 hours prior to initial startup.
1. Plug the PowerPod™ power cord directly to a wall outlet to charge battery.
2. After the PowerPod™ reaches full charge, turn the power system ON by pressing and holding the Mode button on the
fuel gauge until the display comes on (See
