#7 Click on the USB Port (COM13 in this example).  Do not change Baud Rate, Pooling 
Time or Timeout at this time!  

#8 Click on Connect Box.

3.3.2 Using ETH Communications:

#1 Connect the MD-01 through ETH port to the local LAN with an Ethernet Cable. 

#2 Start program spidMD01dde.exe (this name may change).

#3 Click on the down arrow at the bottom middle then click on the Options Tab.
