2. Damaged nozzle or electrode, replace both.
3. The cutting speed is not correct.
4. The distance between the torch and the cut sheet is not correct.
The life of consumables is short
1. High or low air pressure.
2. The set current, cutting speed and other parameters are not set
according to the recommendations of chapter 11-105 A - INDICATIVE
CUTTING PARAMETERS.
3. The piercing is performed from an inappropriate height.
4. Air quality is not good.
16. MAINTENANCE
1. Great care must be taken with the Torch. When cutting material, it sprays
out molten material, which contaminates the interior of the torch. The
plasma torch must be regularly maintained and worn parts replaced in a
timely manner. Check the condition of the diffuser channels regularly (see
Torch drawing). If they are dirty, they must be blown out or replaced by a
diffuser. The poor condition of this part has a negative effect on the quality
of cutting and causes very strong interference, which can cause the control
electronics of the machine to collapse or affect the surrounding equipment.
If the Torch cable is damaged, it must be replaced immediately - there is
a risk of electric shock. current!
2. The maintenance of the pneumatic system consists in the regular draining
of the collected condensate, at least once a day during continuous
operation. Next step, visually check the degree of contamination of the air
filter and, if necessary, dismount and clean it.
3. Setting the working pressure - during cutting, the pressure must not fall
below 5.0 bar. Set the setpoint using the pressure control heads. The head
must first be unlocked by pulling it upwards, set the required pressure and
secure again by pushing. If the machine does not draw any air, there will
be a slight increase in pressure (approx. 1 bar). It is necessary to check or
adjust the pressure value during cutting or in the air flow setting mode.
The power supply box must be regularly blown out with compressed air
according to the degree of dustiness of the environment.
Caution
Be aware of the risk of damaging electronic components by
direct action of compressed air from a short distance.
