The button has turned orange? This is the signal to clean Alana™
For optimum use, clean the equipment filters once a year with
the brush supplied:

Hold the button down for 3 seconds to switch off the
equipment.

Unhook the equipment from the wall.

Remove the top end, the bottom end and the brush from
inside the device.

Stand the equipment upright on a table so that you can
clean it easily.

Brush between the plates to remove the dust from the
equipment

Twist a dry cloth into a point and move it around in each of
the ionisers to clean them.

Refit and hook on the equipment.

Once it is reconnected, hold the button down for 3 seconds
to reset the equipment. A blinking blue light indicates that
servicing is complete.

It can be easier and better to
clean the equipment by applying
methylated spirits to the brush,
but this is not necessary to keep
the unit in good working order.
