VersAlarm™ I/O - USER GUIDE

Features

Refer to the illustration below to reference the feature descriptions provided.

(1) Power On Indicator

 - A pair of green LEDs will illuminate inside

the top cover of the enclosure to indicate that the unit is powered on.

(2) Alarm Beacon

 - During an alarm condition, the green power on

indicator will turn off and the red alarm LEDs will illuminate, flashing

inside the top cover of the enclosure.

(3) Alarm Buzzer

 - The alarm buzzer will annunciate in addition to

the visual indication provided by the red LEDs inside the top cover of

the enclosure during an alarm condition.

(4) Test/Silence Pushbutton

 - This button may be used to either

test or silence the alarm. If the alarm is not in the state of an alarm

condition, the button will test the alarm activating the alarm beacon

and buzzer. During an alarm condition, it will silence the buzzer and

the red LEDs will stop flashing and remain solid.

(5) Auxiliary Contacts

 - One set of auxiliary contact terminals are

included allowing the alarm to interface with an external device. The

contacts are rated for 24VDC @ 0.5A maximum.

(6) Sensor Input

 - One set of sensor terminals are included that can

be used to connect a variety of sensors.

(7) Power Mains Input

 - The alarm has terminals for the line (L1/L2)

connection wires to install 230VAC power from the mains. If 120VAC

power is needed, visit alderonind.com or call factory for options.

(8) Power Indicator Turn Off

 - Hold down the test/silence push-

button for 15 seconds to turn off the green power indicator. Repeat

process to turn power indicator back on.

(9) QR Code

 - Scan code which directs you to alderonind.com where

additional information can be found for the VersAlarm™ I/O.

(10) Sound Chamber

 - The enclosure is designed to allow maximum

sound output from the alarm buzzer. This chamber prevents water

from getting into the enclosure while letting the sound out.
