Procedure 10-12 Configuring the data path for trunk conditioning
1 Enter:
CONFIG — OBJECT — PORT — <U>

2 Specify the channel or channels.
a For a single channel, enter:
<channel_id>

where channel_id is a number from 1 to 24 for a T1 CE port and 1 to 31 for an E1
CE port
b For a channel group, enter:
<CGnumber>

where number is the lowest numbered channel in a channel group
c For a channel range, enter:
<n1-n2>

where
n1 is the first channel in the range in the CH column
n2 is the last channel in the range in the CH column
3 Select:
DATA
4 Select the bit pattern for the data path.
a For a custom bit pattern, enter:
CUSTOM — <data>

where data is an 8-character bit pattern
b To transmit a signal that indicates that the multiplexer is out of service, select:
MUX_OOS
c To transmit a signal that indicates a fault on the upstream device, select:
IDLE
