This command is used to print relevant multicast information from the target multicast router. Information
displayed includes adjacency information, protocol, metrics, thresholds, and flags from the target multicast

Specify the ip-address of the multicast capable target router.

Specify the DNS name (if DNS name resolution is configured).

Description

This command traces a multicast path from a source to a receiver and displays multicast packet rate and loss
information.

Parameters

source ip-address —

Specify the IP address of the multicast-capable source.

ip-address —

Specify the ip-address of the multicast capable target router.

dns-name —

Specify the DNS name (if DNS name resolution is configured).

Specify the multicast address of the group to be displayed.

Specify the unicast destination address.

hop count —

Specify the maximum number of hops that will be traced from the receiver back toward the

source.
