Test Bench:
For the 1850 TSS shelf configuration, refer to Figure 3-5 on p. 3-22 .
Note:
Only one type of cross-connection is reported in the figure. The figure can
change depending on the type of tributary port and on the line port selected.
Procedure
Cross-connect the tributary port and the line port as reported on the table.
Performs the test using two different line (OC-36 / OC-192) ports per each tributary (OC-
3) port.
a. Check that no errors are read on the error detector.
b. Open one of the Optical loop present on the ODF.
c. Check after a transient condition that no errors are read by the error detector.
