An acoustic signal is sent if oxygen toxicity reaches 75%. The
symbol <CNS O

LIMIT> flashes continuously. The ascent arrow

-alarm-triangle is shown.
Response:
Go to a shallower depth if necessary.
Messages:
When oxygen toxicity reaches 100%, an acoustic alarm is sent
every 4 seconds. Also CNS O
2
% value, the ascent arrow and
the O
2
-alarm-triangle all flash continuously. See also page 79.
Response:
Start ascent at once.
– During an ascent and if the CNS O
2
% value does not increase
anymore (due to a lower partial pressure of oxygen), the acous-
tic warning and the ascent arrow are suppressed.
– During the ascent, the display of the oxygen toxicity is replaced
by the ascent rate display. If the ascent is stopped, the display
changes back to the indication of oxygen toxicity.
