Maintenance

6.1

Removal of the unit

Once CYPRES has been installed, it can be removed from the rig without requiring
the services of a rigger. This will take approx. three minutes once the reserve container
has been opened. Reinstallation will require a similar time, not including the pack job.

For either removal or reinstallation, both the reserve and the main containers must be
empty. It is necessary to work very carefully, making sure that the unit's cables are
never twisted or bent.

Also, to avoid unnecessary stress on the nylon housings, we recommend that you
never remove or reinstall the unit without good reason.
