When you uncover your car and prepare to retract the
cover back into the device, did you make sure that the cover is
properly folded upwards to that the cover rests on top of the
car neatly and compactly?
The reason why this can be an issue is because it would affect
how the cover is retracted. If the cover is not folded upwards and
made into a compact form, then it would make it easier for loose
fabric to get caught into a slight tangle. This would make the
cover seem ‘stuck’ and the motor to ‘stutter’. It would create a
burden to the electric motor to draw even more power from the
battery, so it could trigger the safety mechanism to turn itself off.
Solution: If you press the power button on and it still works, then
it means that there’s no fault with the device and that it’s just
the safety mechanism being triggered. If it cannot be turned on,
please contact us. Also, press the cover button and release
the cover out again and do it properly this time. There shouldn’t
be any problems of retracting if this is done correctly.
