Centrox Instruction Manual

AirSep Corporation

Problem

Probable Cause

Solution

Concentrator runs with

intermittent alarm. Oxygen

flow 32 SCF/hr (15 LPM).

Purity is within specifications.

Oxygen sample regulator not

set correctly.

Reset the regulator. Refer to

section 7.2.2.

Faulty electrical connection.

Check electrical connection.

Defective oxygen monitor

board.

Replace monitor board.

Concentrator runs with

oxygen monitor light

illuminated for more than 30

minutes. Audible alarm does

not sound. Low purity oxygen

(21-82%).

Faulty electrical connections.

Check all wires and

connections. (Refer to the

wiring diagrams in Appendix

A.) If problem continues,

replace alarm board.

Defective alarm buzzer.

Replace alarm buzzer.

Concentrator runs with

audible alarm for more than

15 minutes. Oxygen monitor

light is not illuminated. Low

purity oxygen (21-82%).

Faulty electrical connections.

Check all wires and

connections. (Refer to the

wiring diagrams in Appendix

A.) If problem continues,

replace alarm board.

Defective oxygen monitor

light.

Replace oxygen monitor

light.
