Cleaning and Care
Periodic cleaning is recommended as outlined below.
Outer Cover
The Airocide® cover is designed to minimize accumulation of dirt and dust.
In order to clean the outer cover, use a damp cloth and wipe down the unit
surfaces. If necessary, a mild detergent may be used. Do not use bleach or
solvents on the cover, or you may damage the finish.
Large Particulate Screen
For high-dust environments, it may be necessary to clean or change the
Large Particulate Screen more frequently than once per year. In such
environments, periodically check the condition of the screen, following the
instructions above. You may clean the screen with a vacuum or compressed
air. If you find it necessary to clean the screen, do not under any
circumstances use water or any type of cleaning fluid or solvent. Additional
screens may be purchased from an authorized Airocide dealer.
