2. Using a Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver, carefully remove the screws
securing the outer cover to the unit chassis.
3. Open the Air Inlet Port door by turning the two latches on either side of
the door panel.
4. Take care when removing the cover, as its surface is susceptible to
scratching. To remove the cover, grasp the bottom of the cover from the
Air Inlet Port side, and carefully lift up and tilt back towards the User
Interface Panel side until the cover is free.
5. Using a Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver, remove the screws on the top
and bottom of the outer edge of the unit chassis. These screws secure
the chassis to the mounting bracket.
6. With the User Interface Panel on your left, grasp the left edge of the
Airocide® chassis and slide the unit to the right until the chassis clears
the locking slots on the bottom bracket.
7. Lift the Airocide® system up at an angle, from the bottom of the chassis
until the unit is clear of the bottom brackets. Then, lift the unit off of the
upper bracket hooks and place the unit next to the mounting bracket.
Installation of the Mounting Bracket
Given the wide variety of construction techniques and mounting surfaces,
installations should be completed ONLY by experienced contractors. They
will be able to identify the surface and determine the most appropriate
mounting hardware for safely and securely installing your Airocide® System.
