GROUND (Earth)
WARNING:

•

We recommend grounding your generator

before use. 8 AWG wire and a small metal
earth spike. The wire and earth spike are not
supplied with the unit.

CONNECT BATTERY (for electric starting system)

•

Loosen the screw and remove the battery

holder.

FIG.15

Bolt

red

wire to the

positive (+)

terminal and the

black

wire to the

negative (-)

terminal of the battery.

Do not reverse these positions.

•

Be sure the battery is securely installed on the

battery mount tray.

•

Install the cover and tighten the screw.

NOTE:

•

Recommended battery: 12V 6.5AH.
