ommissioning
Start-up and Commissioning
Conditions:
Tools and material:
None
Procedure:
1.
Press the On/Off switch located on the right
side of the control panel.
When starting the boiler for the first
time after installation, the controller
will open the Commissioning Wiz-
ard automatically. This wizard pro-
cess only appears once, provided
that the function is disabled (set to
“off’) at completion of the process.
To bypass it, activate “
Continue
” or
“
Skip
” displayed at the bottom of
the screen, until you reach the end
of the process.
2.
If required, perform the commissioning set-
ting of the boiler, following the instructions
displayed on the screen. Refer to
“Commis
-
sioning Wizard” on page
I-50
for more in-
formation and a list of the settings.
Follow-on task(s):
Perform the combustion adjustments, as described
in the following section.

Flue gas analyser

Screwdriver, flat head, size 3

Wrench, hex head, sizes 2 and 2.5
Procedure:
1.
Activate the required heating mode.
2.
Allow the boiler to operate for a few minutes.
3.
Connect the flue gas analyser probe to the
measuring port of the flue gas pipe.
4.
Check CO
2
contents in the flue gas at max
output as follows:

Select and activate the
icon
î
Select “
Special operations (1/3)
”
î
Set “
Chimney sweep function
” to “
on
”.
î
Set “
Burner output”
to
“Full load”
.
î
Check the CO
2
(or O
2
) contents displayed
on the gas analyser, and compare the val-
ues with those in the technical specifica-
tions (See
“Combustion and Gas Data”
on page G-15
).
î
If the value is outside the range, adjust
combustion by turning the gas valve throt-
tle
screw (
5
)
in small steps:
- Rotate throttle screw clockwise (to the
right) to decrease the CO
2
rate.
- Rotate throttle screw counter-clockwise
(to the left) to increase the CO
2
rate.
î
Allow the value to stabilise before checking
the value again and performing additional
adjustments
.
