re, and evaluated by computer over a read interface (ZA 1409-SLG0) on a
completely device-independent basis.
Old read cable ZA 1409-SLK does not support operation with a ring
memory configuration; i.e. it cannot be used to read out measured
data saved to ring memory. If you wish to continue using this cable
please be sure to have switched ring memory mode off. However,
the new readers ZA1409-SLG / SLG0 with effect from version V2
can be used to evaluate all recorded data.
Applications
The memory connector is plugged into socket A2; it is detected automatically
and, so long as it remains connected, it is used instead of the internal memory.
This is also shown in the display indicating the amount of free memory. In this
display the available memory capacity is preceded by an additional two-digit
connector number. This two-digit number can be programmed from 00 and 99;
it helps to identify the connector.
When the
PROG
key is pressed first of all ´SCLr´ starts flashing; the next time
the
PROG
key is pressed, the first digit in the number starts flashing; this can
now be entered as per Section 5.4.

When the memory connector is plugged in, the internal data memory
is no longer deleted. Which memory is used depends on whether, at
the start of the measuring operation, there is a memory connector
plugged in or not. You must not, in the course of a measuring ope-
ration, either plug or unplug the connector; the change will not be
considered until the measuring operation stops; i.e. if a connector is
unplugged during a measuring operation, all subsequent data for
that operation will be lost
.
6.5.2 Measured value recording
All once-only and all cyclic measuring point scans are generally saved to me-
mory. A new feature is that all measured data is also saved whenever a mea-
suring operation stops - even if no cycle has been programmed. It is thus pos-
sible e.g. to log the results of a simple start - stop - averaging operation inclu-
ding volume flow calculation.
Manual starts and stops
To start cyclic saving to memory press the START/STOP key. To show that
measured values are indeed being saved, the ´MEM´ arrow lights up - conti-
nuously if scanning is cyclic (see Section 6.3.2) and just briefly if scanning is
manual (see Section 6.3.1).
To stop saving to memory press the
START/
STOP
key again.
