THE PR3 ECFM PRESSURE REGULATOR
The PR3 ECFM pressure regulator may only be used with AG-TRONIK and detailed instructions for
its use are described in the AG-TRONIK user manual.
9.6.1
THE EC (ARAG) DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVE
The EC (ARAG) directional control valve with an integrated electric actuator is used to open and close
the flow on individual sections of the spray boom (On/Off valve).

MAINTENANCE OF THE PRESSURE REGULATOR
1.
After each spraying, the regulator must be thoroughly washed with clean water. This is the only
way to ensure that the regulator remains in good operating condition and reduce malfunctions,
thereby avoiding any associated servicing costs.
2.
To make the cleaning of the pressure filter easier, completely open the valve below it, close all
diverter valves and allow a full flow of liquid through the filter. The filter insert occasionally
requires manual cleaning and must be replaced if damaged. To replace it, unscrew the bottom
part of the filter (E 14022/1) anti-clockwise, extract the filter insert (E 14021) and clean the
inside using a brush and tap water. Before reassembling the filter, clean the gasket and apply
grease on its housing. It is recommended to grease all the sealing joints containing round
gaskets.
3.
Occasionally clean the external part of the regulator and apply oil to all the rotating and sliding
elements. The most suitable product is WD-40 or similar maintenance products.
4.
During winter, drain all water from the regulator, leave all the valves in open position and store
the regulator in a warm place. If you intend to add antifreeze or a windscreen washing fluid
containing antifreeze in the sprayer during winter, open the valves and buttons on the valves to
prevent the ice from forming in the stationary and inaccessible parts of the regulator.
5.
You must remove and store the pressure gauge somewhere warm.
WARNING: Always wear protective equipment during cleaning!
