5.6 ATTACHING/UNHOOKING

The Greens Roller on its trailer should always be

located on a level, dry area that is free of debris

and other foreign objects. When attaching the

machine to a utility cart or similar tow vehicle,

follow this procedure:

1. Clear the area of bystanders, especially small

children.

2. Make sure there is enough room and clear-

ance to safely back up to the machine.

3. While backing up, align the hitch with the

drawbar.

4. Stop tow vehicle, remove ignition key and

wait for all moving parts to stop before dis-

mounting.

5. Use a drawbar pin with provisions for a me-

chanical retainer. Install the retainer.

NOTE

If more height adjustment is need-

ed on the hitch, unbolt clevis and

turn upside down. Tighten mount-

ing bolts to their specified torque.

6. Attach the safety chain around the drawbar

cage to prevent unexpected separation.

7. Retract jack, retract anchor pin, rotate 90°,

and release anchor pin to secure.

8. Reverse the above procedure when unhook-

ing from tow vehicle.
