Step 23.
Calculate the shunt current (I=V/R) and enter the data.

Select the Measured Data field. Enter
the data from the external DVM.
Press Select when done.
Press Next to finish calibration.

Remove all loads from the output. This procedure is automatic and
takes a few seconds.

Low Range Current Measurement Calibration
This only applies to Agilent Models N6761A and N6762 with
Firmware revisions B.00.00 and up. For calibrating units with
previous firmware revisions, refer to Appendix E.
Step 25.
Connect only the current measurement terminals of the Agilent
3458A to the output terminals.
Step 26.
Select the low-current measurement range. The following example
selects the 0.1 amp low-current measurement range of channel 1. The
value to program a range must be the maximum current of the range.

Step 27.
Select the first current calibration point. Then wait a minimum of 5
minutes for the internal temperature to stabilize.

Measure the current with the
Agilent 3458A and enter the value.
