AIC Revision B Installation and Configuration

Before You Begin

Verify what revision of the AIC you have. EZChrom Elite currently
supports the AIC Revision B and the AIC 5000. The AIC Revision B
(silver in color) is described in this section.

AIC Revision B Installation

The installation and configuration of the AIC is part of the overall
installation of the data system software. In order to configure the
AIC, some steps in the data system installation must already have
been completed.

If you have not already done so, please begin installation of the
data system software. After the necessary preliminary steps have
been completed, the data system installation guide will direct you
to this document to configure the AIC.

Note

Agilent Technologies, Inc. recommends that
you put the AIC unit in the upright position,
using the attached stand.
When you need to install or upgrade the AIC
software, you must use a USB memory stick.
To verify the memory stick is functioning prior
to use, connect it to an available USB port on
a PC, make sure it is recognized, and select
“take no action” when prompted.
