6. Turn off the 8510.

7. On the 85102:

a. Remove the SMB-to-BNC cable.

b. For an 8360 series source, reconnect the Trigger In cable.

c. Reconnect W28 to A20J1.

d. Remove the SMB tee and reconnect W23 to A10/A12J5.

e. Replace the top cover.

f. For use with 8360 sources, place the BNC short over the SWEEP IN 0-10V BNC.

8. Turn on the 8510.

9. Press

INSTRUMENT STATE RECALL

[MORE], [FACTORY PRESET]

10. Continue with

“Time Domain Option Functional Check”

if you have installed the time

domain option firmware (Option 010). If you did not install the time domain option
firmware, proceed to

“Checking Calibration Kit Definitions.”
