The

fan,

cated

on

the

rear

panel,

has

a

thin

foam

lter.

Ho

w

often

the

lter

m

ust

cleaned

dep ends

on

the

en

vironmen

t

in

whic

h

the

syn

thesizer

op erates.

As

the

lter

collects

dust,

the

fan

sp eed

increases

to

maintain

airow

(as

the

fan

sp eed

increases,

so

do es

the

fan

noise).

If

the

lter

con

tinues

to

collect

dust

after

the

fan

reac

hes

maximum

sp eed,

airow

is

reduced

and

the

syn

thesizer's

in

ternal

temp erature

increases.

If

the

in

ternal

temp erature

reac

hes

90

C,

the

syn

thesizer

automatically

turns

o

and

the

amb er

standb

y

LED

turns

on.

W

ARNING

The

detachable

po

w

er

cord

is

the

instrument

disconnecting

device.

It

disconnects

the

mains

circuits

from

the

mains

supply

before

other

parts

of

the

instrument.

The

front

panel

switch

is

only

a

standb

y

switch

and

is

not

a

LINE

switch.
