4. P o w er Accuracy
Description and Procedure
Using a p o w er meter, c hec k the p o w er accuracy of the syn thesizer at sev eral CW frequencies.
A t eac h frequency , v erify that the actual output p o w er is within sp ecication o v er the full
dynamic range of the ALC lo op.
1. T urn on the equipmen t sho wn in Figure 2-5 and let them w arm up for at least one hour.
Press 4 PRESET 5 on the syn thesizer.
2. On the p o w er meter:
a. Zero and calibrate the p o w er meter/sensor.
b. Set to dBm mo de.
3. Connect the equipmen t as sho wn in Figure 2-5.
4. T o ac hiev e p eak p o w er, turn on RF p eaking. Press:
