3. Connect the tachometer ground wire (11) to the Tachometer ground wire (1) coming off the control box

using butt connector (12).

4. Isolate the connection from the environment using a heat shrink tubing (13). Use a zip tie to secure the

cables.

5. Check the tachometer stroke setting.

It should be set at 1P2R.

Two ways to check the setting:

•

toggle through the setting until the 1P2R stroke setting appears, or

•

check the displayed RPM speed when starting the engine. The RPM displayed should be 1800 at idle and
3600 at full throttle.
