OPERATION
SPRING TINE ROTATIONAL
ADJUSTMENT
The front and rear tine bar assemblies are normally
set so that rotation and penetration are the same.
However, the tooth depth linkage can be adjusted so
that the rear teeth will work shallower than the front
teeth. To make this adjustment, proceed with the
following:
1. Raise the machine to full height with the wings
unfolded.
2. Level and block the entire machine. Place the
blocks so that the blocks do not interfere with
the spring tooth rotation.
3. Fully retract the transport cylinder which will
rotate the spring teeth to full working depth.
4. Relocate the front tooth bar linkage from the
bottom hole to the top hole in the linkage
bracket. Both wings can be changed in the
same manner.
5. Check the operation of the linkage. Cycle the
transport cylinder and check for any
interference.
The rear teeth will now work shallower than the front
teeth.
IMPORTANT: Do not adjust the turnbuckle without
referring to page 33 for proper step by step adjusting
procedures. Improper adjustment could damage the
linkage system.
