3.3 Function
ÖWWG 3 can detect accumulations of liquids. When the mains volt-
age is switched on, the green LED lights up and the PTC thermistor
heats up. Until the operating temperature is reached, the audible
alarm sounds and the red LED is on. After approx. 8 seconds, the
PTC thermistor has reached the operating temperature (unless it is
submerged in liquid) and the control unit is automatically unlocked,
i.e. the audible and visual alarms are deactivated and the relay is en-
ergised.
When the PTC thermistor is submerged in the liquid, the product trig-
gers an alarm.
The voltage-free changeover contact is switched (for example, addi-
tional horn or warning light with rotating reflector).
Products with EnOcean® wireless module
In the case of an alarm, the wireless module transmits the alarm
message via EnOcean® wireless technology in addition to the visual
and audible signals.
3.4 Voltage-free changeover contact
ÖWWG 3 features a voltage-free changeover contact for transmis-
sion of the alarm condition to additional equipment..
ÖWWG 3 can be operated with or without additional equipment, for
example:
