5.5 CONTROLLER
SELF-DIAGNOSTICS
5.5.1 OVERVIEW
There are two types of self-diagnostics for the controller.
•
Power-on self-diagnostics: The machine automatically starts the self-diagnostics
just after the power has been turned on.
•
SC detection: The machine automatically detects SC conditions at power-on or
during operation.
The following shows the workflow of the power-on and detailed self-diagnostics.
The messages xxx MB and version number
depend on the memory capacity and the firmware
version respectively.
While the message Diagnostic Passed is
displayed, the following tests and checks are
