Carri er Frequen cy:
The measured frequency of the ELT signal.
B i t r a te:
The measured bit rate of the receiv ed ELT signal in bits per second. Nominal rate is
400 bps.
Mod ulation Ri se Ti me:
The measured time for the phase modulation to rise from -90% of the modulat ion index
to + 90% of the modulation index on rising edges.
Mod ulation Fall Time:
The measured time for the phase modulation to fall from 90% of the modulation index to
-90% of the modulation index on falling edges.
Mod S ymmet ry:
The ratio of the difference in duration between the positive and negativ e parts of a bit
modulation to the duration of the entire bit. Nominal value of symmetry is 0; it is
specified to be less than 0.05 by C/S T.001.
Mod Ind ex:
The measured modulation index in radi ans. Nominal value is 1.1 radian.
