WARNING:

Strictly observe the warnings below. Failure

to observe them, could result in injuries to people or

damages to properties or to the unit.

WARNING:

Please read this manual carefully before

using the unit.

WARNING:

Please read this manual carefully before

installing the unit.

WARNING:

Please read this manual carefully before

repairing or performing maintenance on the unit.

WARNING:

the unit is designed for indoor use only.

PURPOSE OF THE UNIT:

the units are designed solely for the purpose of air

conditioning indoor rooms of a certain size and

with conditions of use appropriate for the installed

power level.

DO NOT USE THESE UNITS FOR OTHER

PURPOSES.

The place where the unit is installed must be fitted

with a residual current circuit breaker with over current

protection, to avoid the risk of electric shock.

The various unit models can be controlled by means of

remote control/wired panel.

WARNING

Connect the supply unit 8 hours before

performing any type of operation. Otherwise,

damages to the compressor may occur.

WARNINGS FOR THE INSTALLER

•  Special attention must be paid to safety, making sure

the cables are correctly connected; incorrect wiring

connections could cause the supply cable, plug or

power socket to overheat, leading to a fire risk.

•  Make sure that the unit is connected to the power

supply or to a power socket with the correct voltage

and frequency. Using power supplies with the

incorrect voltage and frequency could damage the

unit and consequently risk starting a fire. The voltage

must be stable, without major fluctuations.

•  Position the unit on a flat, even surface.

•  To ensure correct condensate drainage, follow the

indications given in the relative chapter. Incorrect

installation of the condensate drainage can result

in water leaks, wetting furniture and other items in

the room.

•  Do not install the unit in a location where it could

be affected by inflammable gas leaks or deposits

of materials which are inflammable, explosive,

poisonous, corrosive or hazardous substances. Do

not use naked flames near the units. Risk of fire or

explosion. Install the unit in a location with minimal

levels of dust, fumes, humidity and corrosive agents

in the air.

•  Do not install the unit near a laundry, bathroom,

shower or swimming pool.

•  When installing the unit, allow sufficient technical

clearance around the unit for maintenance.

•  During installation, take note of the unit dimensions

and weight.

•  Do not modify the unit! Do not attempt to repair

the unit by yourself. This is extremely dangerous!

Incorrect interventions may cause electric shock, gas

leaks, fires, etc. Contact the company. Interventions

must only be carried out by “personnel with the

specific technical skills”.

•  Make sure the power supply and installed power are

suitably scaled to supply the unit correctly.

•  Before starting up the unit, make sure the electric

cables and condensate discharge pipes have been

correctly installed to avoid any risk of water leaks,

refrigerant gas leaks or electric shock.

•  Do not handle the unit or touch the keys if your

hands are wet. Risk of electric shocks.

•  Be sure to turn off the unit and unplug the power

cable before carrying out any maintenance or

cleaning operations. The rotation of the fans inside

the unit can cause injury.

•  Check the power supply is disconnected before

carrying out any operations on the unit.

•  Do not make joints on the power cable. Junctions

can cause overheating and/or fires.

•  If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced

by the manufacturer or by a person with a similar

qualification, so as to prevent any risks.

•  Do not leave cables in direct contact with the

refrigerant pipes (as they could reach high

temperatures) or with moving parts such as the fan.

•  Periodically check that the unit installation

conditions have not been altered, and have the unit

checked by “qualified personnel”.

•  Install the unit and the remote control at least 1

metre away from electrical appliances, TV, radio,

stereo equipment, etc.

•  The wiring diagrams are subject to a continuous

update. Therefore, it is mandatory to refer to those

on the machine.

WARNINGS FOR THE USER

•  This appliance can be used by children over the

age of 8 and by persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience

and necessary knowledge, as long as they are

supervised or have received instructions concerning

the safe use of the appliance and understand the
