2.2.1 Ionization mode
When you turn on/off the device with the "POWER" button, the ionization mode is
simultaneously activated/deactivated. No additional buttons on the control panel
should be pressed.
The ionizer releases negative ions into the air. These ions attach to the smallest
particles of dirt, transferring an electric charge to them. The charged particles then
stick together and become larger.
Thus, the ionization mode helps the unit's filters to trap particles that would be too
small to filter without exposure to ions.
NOTE.
Some large particles may be deposited on horizontal surfaces around the
device. This results in the formation of dust deposits on the floor and furniture. It
is recommended that the room be damp cleaned after the air purifier has
finished operating.
Ionization also produces ozone. It deactivates bacteria, mould spores and other
harmful micro-organisms by damaging their membranes and genetic material *.
2.2.2 UV disinfection mode
To turn on/off the air disinfection (sanification) mode, press the button "UV-C". Press
the button to turn on/off the UV lamp of the device. During the UV disinfection of the
room, the indicator button lights up.
WARNING!
Make sure there are no people or pets in the room with the UV disinfection
device before you start it.
