Troubleshooting
Problem Error
Code
Cause Solution
The display is blank. - The battery is empty. Charge the robot.
The current time does
not appear on the
display. - The robot has not been
charged for a too long
time. Charge the robot and set the
clock.
The robot does not
start. The Dust container is
not present or properly
closed. Place the Dust container in the
robot, properly close the lid.
The robot does not
move/clean properly. E:10 Bumper is stuck. The robot is stuck, and is in need
of help to get loose.
Lift and place the robot where it
can move freely.
E:11 Right wheel is stuck. Check that all parts turns freely.
Clean and remove entangled
threads from parts if needed.
Replace Brush roll or Side brush if
damaged.
E:12 Left wheel is stuck.
E:13 Brush roll is stuck.
E:14 Side brush is stuck.
E:15 The robot is stuck. Lift and place the robot where it
can move freely.
The batteries does not
charge. - The power cord and
adapter is not properly
assembled, and/
or connected to the
mains.
The Charging plates
on the robot and the
Charging base are not
connected. Connect the adapter connector to
the Charging base. Connect the
power cable to the mains. Make
sure the Charging plates on the
robot and the Charging base are
connected.
Check that the plug and cable are
not damaged.
The batteries does not
longer charge or runs
empty fast. - The batteries life has
expired. Replace the batteries.
Always change the 2 battery
packs at the same time.
Warranty.
The batteries are
malfunctioning when
charging. E:21 The batteries are
malfunctioning when
charging. Immediataly stop charging and
disconnect the Charging base
from the mains socket. Please
contact authorized AEG service
centre.
The robot overheats
when cleaning. E:30 The ambient
temperature is too
high. Turn off the robot and wait for it
to cool down. Pull down blinds for
the windows to block out strong
sunlight.
Service needed. E:40 Contact an authorized AEG service
centre.
Digits on the display
fl ashes. The Schedule
button does not
respond when pressed. - The current time is
not set. Set the current time.
It is not possible to use schedule
cleaning if the current time is
not set.
Water has been sucked
into the robot. - - It will be necessary to replace
the motor at an authorized AEG
service centre.
Damage to the motor caused by
the penetration of water is not
covered by the warranty.
