A screened cable is not necessary for the
sensor, however, it significantly improves the
thermostat’s immunity towards noise.The
screen is earthed at the thermostat but not at
the sensor.
The regulator has a built-in fault interrupter
circuit which interrupts the heating in case of
disconnected or short-circuited sensor.
SETTING OF REQUIRED FLOOR
TEMPERATURE
Scale range of the FTE 300 is 0°/+40°C.
To assist the adjustment the FTE 300 has a LED
which will glow RED when the heating is on. Set
the thermostat on 40°C. When the required
temperature has been reached, turn back the
control knob until the LED goes out. The
temperature set will then be constant.
