Insert the open end of the tie into the locking end and pull it through. Do not

tighten at this time.

4.

Make any final adjustments before securing. Make sure the housing cover is

facing down.

5.

Tighten the locking tie and secure the mounting bracket to the pole.

Connect the cables. See “PoE Injector” on page

7.

Connect the top antennas by turning the antenna in the connectors in a

clockwise direction.

Repeat for the bottom locations.

Cable Connections

2.3.1

PoE Injector

The device is designed to connect to an 802.3at/af PoE injector or switch (not

included) to allow access to power and data through a single Ethernet cable,

supplying both to an access point.

1.

Locate the bottom of the device. The housing covers are attached.

2.

Unscrew the housing cover and remove it.

3.

Remove the rubber seal from the inner housing cover.

4.

Thread the RJ45 cable in the following order:

thread through outer plastic cover

–

thread through rubber seal

–

thread through inner plastic cover
