4.3

Replacing the Cooling Fan

There is a system cooling fan near the front left of the chassis. To replace the cooling
fan, please follow the procedures below:

1.

Remove the top cover

2.

Unplug the fan power connector.

3.

Loosen the four screws on the front plate and take out the fan module. (see Fig-
ure 4.3)

4.

Remove the two screws on the fan guard.

5.

Fasten the fan guard onto a new fan.

6.

Return the fan module with the wire facing downward to the chassis and fasten
it to the four screws.

7.

Plug in the fan power connector.

8.

Replace the top cover and fasten it.
