Return the cleaned solenoid plunger, including
spring, retainer, and any washers, to the solenoid
body. Screw in the retainer bracket screws. Replace
the instrument cover, and then remove the chamber
cleaner.
9.
If necessary, re-calibrate the Osmo1.
Sampler plunger wire replacement and verifi cation
To ensure proper instrument operation, you should
replace the sampler plunger wire every 500 tests (or
each time you empty a Micro-Sample Test Kit).
NOTE:
A sampler plunger wire is included with each
Micro-Sample Test Kit.
Failure to replace the plunger wire may aff ect instrument
accuracy and repeatability.

Refer to Figure 54 when completing the sampler
plunger wire replacement procedure.

To replace the sampler plunger wire:
1.
Unscrew the calibration gauge and key.
2.
Rotate the sampler shaft until the calibration
setscrew appears beneath the access hole in the side
of the sampler body.
3.
Place the key end of the calibration gauge in the
access hole and turn counter-clockwise to loosen the
setscrew.
4.
Carefully remove the old sampler plunger wire.
5.
Place a sampler tip on the sampler to help you place
new wire correctly.
