Deleting a user
1.
From the Users screen, select the user you want to
delete and tap
Delete
.
A confirmation prompt displays (Figure 45).

2.
At the confirmation prompt, tap
Yes
to delete, or
No
to cancel the delete action.
6.8 Adjusting hardware options
The Hardware Options screen allows you to adjust
settings related to the unit’s audio, LCD display, printer,
and barcode scanner.
To view or change hardware options:
1.
From the Settings menu, tap
H/W Options
.
The system prompts you to log in.
2.
Select the appropriate username from the list and
enter the corresponding password.
NOTE:
If individual user accounts are not configured,
log in under the Admin account (see “Default
user accounts” on page 36).
The Hardware Options screen opens with the Audio
tab in front (Figure 46).
3.
Select the tab for the hardware whose settings you
want to view or adjust.
4.
If desired, edit the settings on that tab; then tap
Save
to save the changes.
NOTE:
Each tab is described in the following sections.
5.
Repeat step 3 and step 4 for any other hardware
options you want to view/edit.
6.
When you have finished viewing/editing hardware
options, tap
Exit
to return to the Settings menu.
Setting audio options
Audio beeps can alert you to error conditions.
You can disable or set options for audio click tones and
then test your selections using the Audio tab on the
Hardware Options screen. See Figure 46.
After changing settings, tap
Save
.

Adjusting screen brightness
You can adjust the brightness of the LCD screen using
the LCD tab on the Hardware Options screen. See
Figure 47.
