Nickbewegungen ausgleichen

Halte im Flug die Kappe
möglichst zentral über dem Kopf,
indem du Nickbewegungen
aktiv ausgleichst. Gebe bei einer

Anstellwinkel-Vergrösserung
(Aufstellen des Flügels) die

Steuerleinen kurzzeitig
vollständig frei. Bei einer

Anstellwinkel-Verkleinerung
(Vorschiessen des Flügels) musst

du den Schirm anbremsen.
Unterschreite jedoch nie die
Mindestgeschwindigkeit und
vermeide Überreaktionen.

TIPP: Du kannst leichtes
Vornicken im beschleunigten

und unbeschleunigten Flug auch
über die C-Gurte kontrollieren.

Controlling the pitch

Active flying means always

keeping the glider above your
head – in other words, if the

angle of attack increases (wing
goes back) the brakes should be

briefly released completely, and
if the angle of attack reduces

(wing dives forward) the wing
should be briefly and strongly

braked. Always make sure that
the airspeed does not fall below

a safe minimum, and avoid
overreacting with the brakes.

HINT: You can also control slight
pitching forward in accelerated
and unaccelerated flight using
the C-risers.

Contrôle du tangage

Un vol actif signifie qu’il faut en
permanence maintenir l’aile au-
dessus de la tête. Lorsque l’angle
d’incidence augmente (l’aile se

cabre), il faut brièvement et
totalement relâcher les freins.
Lorsque l’angle d’incidence
diminue (lors d’une abattée), il
faut brièvement freiner un peu
plus l’aile. Il faut veiller à ne pas
voler moins vite que la vitesse
minimum (risque de décrochage)
et éviter les réactions excessives
sur les commandes.

CONSEIL : Tu peux aussi
contrôler une légère abattée en
vol accéléré ou non, en utilisant
les élévateurs C.
