IQ 710 System Manual

configuration. N-Formant samples the 12 most recent data values stored in the device. If the device collects
samples at the rate of one every five minutes, then the 12 most recent will cover a one hour time period.
Thirty minute samples would cover a six hour activity period, and so on. The activity over this time period
is calculated as a weighted average giving greater weight to the most recent samples.
